Charles Roberts-Perkins: Self-Taught Technical Wiz Kid and Social Media Entrepreneur Extraordinaire!

Charles Roberts-Perkins, also known as “CRPHD,” is an American Photographer and YouTuber. He has amassed over half a million views and 6,000+ subscribers on his self-titled channel, where he creates/uploads tech reviews, vlogs, gaming & entertainment videos!. He is credited as “Austin’s Own Tech Kid” across Facebook groups locally. Charles is a great example of what it takes to be an entrepreneur! Given his stellar photography, videography, editing and production portfolio he has also gained the role of lead creative intern of CBJ management.
Outside of his professional life, he is the oldest brother of five children. Charles has an active life in all realms. He played varsity football where his team made it a considerable distance into the Texas H.S. state playoffs.
He also has many accomplishments as a varsity wrestler at Vandegrift High School in Austin, Texas. Charles won district champion twice prior to his senior year, ranked 11th in Texas for his weight class, and a UIL regional qualifier just to name a few. He was even featured as athlete of the month in the Riverplace Living magazine, a community-based publication.
He often exercises his many talents like photography. In 2020, he entered the NAACP Act-so competition for his sports photography work and made it as far as nationals! He has additionally added clothing designer to his repertoire with the CRPHD Merch clothing line he promotes on Instagram. He often takes photography, videography, and even graphic design work from friends, family, and small businesses locally. This includes birthday shoots, weddings, graduation, and product photos etc. He has also worked with several athletes to create highlight videos for college submissions, college commitment promotional graphic design work, and created video content for Four Points Pop Warner organization, and OddBallz Collectibles just to name a few.
He continues to advance himself through the dual enrollment program and gaining college credit from Austin Community College! After graduation from high school this year, he plans to attend a Texas University studying film or engineering. Charles’s professional inspirations include YouTubers Marques Brownlee, Sarah Dietschy, and P2isthename. He also looks up to his wrestling coach Paul Muck.
